| In the forests around the chalet, many varieties of wild and exotic mushrooms can be found at the right time of day in season. However, this is only recommended for those totally familiar with these fungi as certain varieties can be dangerous.

 Magnificent statue overlooking the valley which is modelled on the statue of Christ the king overlooking St Paulo in Brazil. Just a 5 minute walk from the chalet through a beautiful forest. The views of Les Houches and the Mont Blanc Massif are stunning.
